OutStart to Host Webcast for Government Agencies & Contractors

Boston, Mass.– October 17, 2006 – OutStart, the leading provider of software solutions for learning and knowledge-sharing, today announced it will be hosting a Webcast to inform government agencies and contractors how to best capture the knowledge of their workforce, particularly aging baby boomers. It is imperative that these organizations capture as much information as possible from these individuals, as one fifth will soon be retiring and taking their knowledge with them. Agencies must understand that there is an opportunity to take this potential obstacle and turn it into a powerful opportunity. The keynote speaker will be Steve Kerschenbaum, CTO and Senior Information System Analyst at VERTEX Solutions, a leading provider of customized learning solutions to Government agencies.

The Webcast will address the following topics to help organizations improve performance:

  • Readily locate, capture and share the knowledge of experts and workers
  • Bridge the gap between Baby Boomers, Gen 'X' and the Millennial generation
  • Support learning, community collaboration and just-in-time, just-enough knowledge sharing
