This one-day workshop was created specifically for administrators responsible for managing the OutStart LCMS Evolution Module Platform. Participants will explore the administrative features and functions available through OutStart LCMS Evolution Module Learning Portal, including configuration options, data movement, learner management, and theme management. Participants will also experience the administrative features and functions within the Evolution Module Knowledge Developer, including the Metadata Manager and Template Manager. Structured exercises coupled with comprehensive instruction by OutStart's professional program facilitators will provide participants with a practical and enjoyable hands-on learning experience.

Objective:

The Administration Workshop is designed specifically for administrators responsible for managing the Evolution course development and deployment environments. The goal of this workshop is to provide them with the knowledge needed to successfully utilize the administrative features and functions of the Evolution platform that relate to their role.

Overall Learning Objectives:

• Distinguish between the seven OutStart LCMS Evolution Module Platform roles and their responsibilities.
• Create and modify Learning Portal member accounts through the Member Management category.
• Utilize the Theme Management category to design the Learning Portal layout and theme, and upload a welcome message for members.
• Perform the following administrative functions within the Administration Manager category through the Learning Portal:
• Rename element categories
• Create and modify media categories and media types
• Modify the label of an object type
• Create data groups and data tags within the Metadata Manager of the Knowledge Developer.
• Utilize the Template Manager within the Knowledge Developer to change the status of a template and add it to the Object Palette.
• Manage and monitor the movement of data within your enterprise.
• Generate various delivery outputs for content residing in the Knowledge Repository.
